[Overview]
Nora AI (formerly Intern Guys) is a fast-growing AI startup that transforming recruitment by using AI-powered interviews to make hiring faster, simpler, and more efficient.
During my time as a contract UX Designer, I worked closely with the CEO and developer to design and iterate multiple interfaces and user flows. I created design flows, prototypes, and pitch decks, accumulating over 10+ projects.

[Project 1]
When recruiters want to create a new job posting and generate an interview, they are able to customize each interview thoroughly to cater to specific needs and wants.

[Understanding initial user experience]
[pain points]
[1] Zero visibility
The process allows no insight to what the interview looks like on the applicant end.
[2] Limited customization
Interviews are generated solely based on the job description, taking away customizability and personalization.
[3] Lack of control
Ultimately, recruiters have no governance over the outcome of their interview.
[design]
Simplicity is key.
My manager was the sole developer and CEO of the startup, so his time and energy was limited. My priority and design approach had to change from prioritizing scalability -> simplicity and efficiency.

[Project 2]
Applicant Profile Visualization
When recruiters want to create a new job posting and generate an interview, they are able to customize each interview thoroughly to cater to specific needs and wants.

[problem statement]
Recruiters want to be able to quickly scan applicants’ profiles and interview feedback for efficient decision making. By adding visual markers and clarifying information hierarchy, users should be able to glance through applicant profiles with an understanding of how they did.
[Problem statement]
Keeping track of applicants’ profiles and statuses is tedious and difficult to keep organized. Recruiters have to scroll through endless tabs of names and dates, making the selection process unnecessarily exhausting.
[Why a kanban board?]

Traditional spreadsheets and waterfall methodologies are rigid, increase cognitive load, and are less intuitive for the average person.
Kanban boards provide visual project management, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and workflow flexibility by displaying tasks in stages.
